This Remington manufactured 22 1/2" long octagon barrel is for the No. 4 single shot rolling block rifle in 32 rimfire caliber with a takedown frame (non-solid frame variation) and is in good condition exhibiting a dark brownish gray patina with scattered specks of older rust. The bore is dark and moderate pitting is present. The barrel is simply marked "Remington Arms Co. Ilion, N.Y. U.S.A.".  (file photo)
